Eucalyptus dumosa, also known as the white mallee, dumosa mallee, or Congoo mallee, is a species of mallee tree native to southeastern Australia. It has a bushy, spreading habit and typically grows to a height of 4-10 meters. The bark is rough and flaky on the lower trunk and smooth on the upper trunk. The leaves are lance-shaped to curved and the flowers are white. The tree is widely used for its commercial eucalyptus oil and is also used for mass plantings, erosion control, and as a source of food and medicine by Indigenous Australians. It is also beneficial for reducing salinity, providing shade and windbreaks, and preventing erosion.
