Eucalyptus curtisii, also known as Plunkett mallee, is a type of mallee or small tree found only in south-east Queensland, Australia. It has smooth grey to silvery bark, lance-shaped leaves, and white flowers. The tree can grow up to 12 meters tall and has a lignotuber. Its flower buds grow in groups of seven and the fruit is a woody cup-shaped capsule. This species was first described in 1931 and is named after Densil Curtis, a farmer and naturalist who collected the first specimens. Plunkett mallee is found in shrubland and open forest in south-east Queensland and is the floral emblem of Ipswich City Council.
