Eucalyptus captiosa is a type of mallee tree found only in the south-west region of Western Australia. It has smooth bark, lance-shaped leaves, and pale yellow flowers. The tree typically grows to a height of 1-4 meters and can be identified by its distinct bark and flower buds. It was first described in 1993 and its name, captiosa, means "deceptive" in Latin, referring to its unique leaves. This species is found in heath areas and is not considered threatened by the Western Australian government.
