Eucalyptus arenicola, also known as the Holey Plains peppermint or Gippsland Lakes peppermint, is a tree or mallee native to the south-east coastal regions of Victoria. It can reach heights of 4-12 meters and has rough, fibrous bark on its trunk and branches. The leaves are glossy green and lance-shaped, with white flowers and cup-shaped fruit. This species was first described in 2008 and its name is derived from Latin words meaning "sand dweller", reflecting its habitat in sandy soils near the Gippsland Lakes. It is found in the area between Bairnsdale and the Holey Plains.
