Corymbia novoguinensis is a tree species native to New Guinea, some Torres Strait Islands, and the Cape York Peninsula. It has rough bark, lance-shaped leaves, and creamy white flowers. The tree can grow up to 25 meters tall and has woody urn-shaped fruit. It is similar to other eucalypt species, but can be distinguished by its fruit shape. It was first described in 1987 and given its current name in 1995. This species is found in coastal areas and prefers sandy soils.
