Corymbia hamersleyana is a small tree or mallee species found only in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. It has a unique appearance, with rough bark on the trunk and smooth cream-colored bark above, lance-shaped leaves, and creamy white flowers. The tree typically grows to a height of 8 meters and has a lignotuber. It is found in shallow and rocky soils on slopes and hillsides in the Pilbara and North West Cape regions. The species was first described in 1987 and was later renamed Corymbia hamersleyana in honor of the Hamersley family. Flowering occurs between April and September, and the fruit is a woody urn-shaped capsule.
