Baeckea uncinella is a shrub species belonging to the Myrtaceae family and is found exclusively along the south coast of Western Australia. It has narrow, egg-shaped to linear leaves and small white flowers with seven to thirteen stamens. The plant typically grows to 1-2 meters in height and is found near watercourses and salt lakes in the Esperance Plains and Mallee regions. It was first described in 1867 and was recently renamed as Austrobaeckea uncinella, although this name has not yet been officially accepted. The species is considered to be of low conservation concern, with only a few known locations and no immediate threats.
