Baeckea trapeza is a shrub species belonging to the Myrtaceae family and is found only in Queensland, Australia. It has lance-shaped leaves with a narrower base and white flowers with eight to eleven stamens. The shrub can grow up to 1 meter in height and has grey, scaly bark. Its flowers bloom between January and April and produce a conical to bell-shaped capsule as fruit. This species was first described in 1997 and is named after its distribution on the Blackdown Tableland. It is typically found in open forests at altitudes of 700-800 meters.
