Baeckea pachyphylla is a shrub with bilaterally flattened leaves and small white flowers that is native to the south of Western Australia. It grows up to 1.5 meters tall and has egg-shaped leaves and white petals. The flowers bloom from September to December and are followed by a capsule fruit. This plant was first described in 1867 and was recently renamed to Austrobaeckea pachyphylla. It is found in the Great Southern and south western coastal regions of Western Australia, typically in sandy or clay soils around granite.
