Astartea aspera, also known as rough-stemmed astartea, is a shrub native to Western Australia. It can reach a height of 1.5 metres and produces white-pink flowers between August and May. This shrub is commonly found in the Great Southern and Goldfields-Esperance regions, growing in sandy-loamy-clay soils over limestone or granite. It is typically found in various habitats such as valleys, hills, river banks, and road verges.
