Angophora subvelutina, also known as the broad-leaved apple, is a tree species native to eastern Australia. It has rough bark, lance-shaped to egg-shaped leaves, and white flowers. The tree can grow up to 25 meters tall and is found in open forests in alluvial soil and gravelly clay. It is mainly found in coastal areas of Queensland and New South Wales. The tree has been used to feed cattle during dry seasons. It was first described in 1858 and its name comes from the Latin word for "almost velvety".
