Pimelea tinctoria is a species of flowering plant found in the south-west region of Western Australia. It is a spindly shrub with elliptic leaves arranged in pairs and yellow or yellowish-green flowers surrounded by egg-shaped to narrowly elliptic bracts. It typically grows to a height of 0.5-1m and flowers from August to October. This plant was first described in 1845 and is mainly found in sandy soil in shrubland and clearings near the coast. It is not considered a threatened species by the Western Australian government.
