Pimelea nivea is a flowering plant that is native to Tasmania and belongs to the Thymelaeaceae family. It is an erect shrub with white-haired stems, elliptic to round leaves, and compact clusters of white or cream-colored flowers. The plant can grow up to 3.5 meters in height and blooms from September to February. It was first described in 1805 and is commonly found in rocky hillslopes in the Devonport-Waterhouse and Hobart-South West Cape regions of Tasmania. Its name, nivea, means "snowy" or "snow-white".
