Pimelea ferruginea, also known as pink rice flower or coastal banjine, is a flowering plant found in south-western Western Australia. It is a dense, upright shrub with elliptic leaves and clusters of pink, tube-shaped flowers. This plant is typically 0.3-1.5 meters tall and has a single stem at ground level. It blooms mainly from August to February and was first described in 1805. Pink rice flower can be found in coastal sand dunes and rocky headlands in various bioregions of Western Australia. It is not considered a threatened species by the government.
