Pimelea ammocharis is a small shrub in the Thymelaeaceae family, found only in Western Australia. It grows up to 1.8 meters tall and has silvery green leaves and white-yellow to orange flowers. The flowers are tubular and covered in thick hairs. This species was first described in 1857 and its name is derived from Greek words meaning "sand" and "grace". It is found in the southern part of the Kimberley region and central Northern Territory, typically in dry areas near water sources or on sandy or rocky soil. Flowering occurs from March to October.
