Sphaeralcea rusbyi, also known as Rusby's globemallow or desert-mallow, is a flowering plant in the mallow family. It is found in the southwestern United States and can be found in different types of desert environments. This species is divided into three subtaxa that grow in different areas of the desert southwest. The plant has hairy or woolly stems that can grow up to three meters tall, and its leaves are lobed or compound. The flowers are characterized by five red-orange petals that can reach up to 2 centimeters in length.
