Plagianthus divaricatus, also known as saltmarsh ribbonwood, is a plant native to New Zealand. Its Māori name is makaka. This shrub has an upright growth habit and its branches are tightly intertwined. It is typically found in coastal areas, including salt swamps, sandy banks, and estuaries.
