Cola mossambicensis, also known as the Mozambique cola, is a type of large evergreen tree that belongs to the Malvaceae family. It is found only in central Mozambique and Malawi. Similar to other Cola species, this tree produces flowers in clusters on older branches and its seeds are released when the fruits ripen and split open.
