Alyogyne huegelii is a large-flowered shrub native to the Southwest botanical province of Western Australia. It is commonly known as lilac hibiscus or blue hibiscus and is widely cultivated as a flowering plant for the garden. The flowers are highly variable in colour and have five luminous petals up to 70 mm long. It prefers temperate and sandy coastal plains and is propagated by cuttings. It is also grown in temperate climates of the United States of America and Europe.
