Viola renifolia, also known as white violet or kidneyleaf violet, is a perennial herb found in northern North America. It has a widespread distribution across Canada and the northern United States, growing up to 10 centimeters tall with kidney-shaped leaves and white flowers with purple lines. This species can be found in various habitats, including spruce forests and swamps. However, it is listed as endangered in Connecticut, threatened in Iowa, extirpated in Pennsylvania, and sensitive in Washington.
