Viola primulifolia, commonly known as the primrose-leaf violet, is a species of flowering plant in the violet family native to eastern North America and possibly the Pacific Northwest. It is a low, stemless perennial that produces white flowers in the spring, and can be distinguished from similar-looking species by its ovate leaves with rounded to truncate bases that are 1.5-2 times as long as wide. A rare variety of this species, V. primulifolia var. occidentalis, is found in a small area of western California and Oregon, and has alternatively been referred to as Viola lanceolata ssp. occidentalis.
