Scolopia crassipes is a plant species in the Salicaceae family, native to Sri Lanka. In Sinhala, it is known as "katu kenda". It is a small, shrubby tree with dark green leaves and small, inconspicuous flowers. The plant is found in the wild in Sri Lanka and is also cultivated for its medicinal properties. It is used in traditional medicine to treat various ailments, including fever, cough, and skin diseases.
