Salix euxina, also known as the eastern crack-willow, is a flowering plant in the willow family native to Turkey and the Caucasus region. It was first described in 2009 and is one of the parents of the common crack-willow. This tree can reach up to 20 meters in height and has a wide crown with deeply fissured bark on older trees. Its leaves are pale green and its catkins have densely clustered flowers. The hybrid of Salix euxina and Salix alba, known as Salix × fragilis, is more commonly found in Europe. The name "Salix fragilis" has been used for both the pure species and the hybrid, but in 2009 it was decided to conserve the name for the hybrid and the pure species was named Salix euxina. This species is found in a narrow region around the east of the Black Sea and has been introduced to parts of Europe and Canada. It is less common in cultivation compared to the hybrid, but one popular cultivar is 'Bullata'.
