Flueggea leucopyrus is a shrub or tree found in wet tropical biomes, with common names including Indian snowberry, white honey shrub, bushweed, and cool pot. It grows up to 5 meters tall with sharp spines and has alternate leaves and small, white fruits. It is native to countries in Africa and Asia, including India, Sri Lanka, and China. The plant has been used in traditional medicine for treating wounds and has shown potential anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It has also been found to have cytotoxic effects on breast cancer cells. In addition, the young branches of this plant have been used as brooms by indigenous people in India.
