Eupomatia barbata, also known as small bolwarra, is a species of small shrub endemic to the wet tropics rainforests of northeastern Queensland. It grows up to 1 meter tall and flowers before fully grown. Specimens of the plant have been collected since the late 1800s, but it was not formally described until 2002 by botanist Laurie W. Jessup.
