Lilium medeoloides is a herb found in East Asia, specifically in southeast China, Jeju-do in Korea, Japan, and eastern Russia. It grows in forests and subalpine areas and has lanceolate leaves arranged in whorls on the lower part of the stem. The plant produces apricot to orange-red flowers with dark spots and purple anthers on short racemes. It can grow up to 40-80 cm and is also known as "Lily with wheels" due to its unique appearance.
