Erythronium tuolumnense, also known as Tuolumne fawn lily or Tuolumne dog's tooth violet, is a species of flowering plant in the lily family. It is native to the Sierra Nevada region of Tuolumne County, California and can be found at altitudes between 600m and 1000m. This hardy perennial wildflower grows from a dog's tooth-shaped bulb and produces yellow flowers with white stamens. However, this rare plant is threatened by human activities such as logging and recreational off-road vehicle use. It is also found in cultivation and has received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. Due to its small historic range and various threats, Erythronium tuolumnense is listed as imperiled by NaturServe. Conservation efforts are needed to protect this species and its populations.

Expose seeds to natural outdoor winter conditions for 3 months, then gradually increase light and temperature in the spring.
Sow seeds immediately as their viability decreases rapidly, or they best germinate when fresh. If stored, seeds might need temperature cycling and patience to germinate.
leave in pot for 2 years
