Wurmbea sinora is a unique plant species belonging to the Colchicaceae family and is native to Australia. It is a perennial herb that grows up to 8 cm tall and produces white flowers from July to September. This species is mainly found in the Avon Wheatbelt, Esperance Plains, Jarrah Forest, Mallee, and Warren IBRA bioregions of Western Australia. It thrives in loam and sandy clay soils, particularly in areas with seasonal moisture and salt marshes.
