Cryptocarya williwilliana, commonly known as the small leaved laurel, is a rare shrub or small rainforest tree found in remote areas in the Macleay River valley near Kempsey, Australia. It grows to a maximum height of 6 metres and has veiny, ovate leaves between 1.5 and 4 cm in diameter. It produces faintly scented white flowers between October and January, and a black drupe in late summer and early autumn. Germination from fresh seed is slow but reliable.
