Cinnamomum politum is a species of tree in the laurel family (Lauraceae), endemic to Borneo. It grows up to 30 metres tall, with a trunk to 75 cm in diameter. It is found in Sarawak, Sabah, Brunei, and East Kalimantan, in mixed dipterocarp forest, kerangas forest, and lower montane forest up to 1470 metres elevation. It prefers leached sandy soil, podsolised white sand or sandstone-derived soil.
