Camphora glandulifera, also known as the false camphor tree or Nepal camphor tree, is an evergreen tree in the Cinnamomum genus of the Lauraceae family. It can reach heights of 5-20 meters and has shiny, dark green leaves that are 6-15 cm long. The tree produces small, yellowish flowers and black, round fruits that ripen from July to September. It is native to China, Bhutan, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Nepal, and can be found in broad-leaved forests at elevations of 1,500-2,500 meters. The leaves of this tree have a distinct smell and contain camphor and essential oils.
