Cinnamomum cambodianum, commonly referred to as Cambodia cinnamon, is an evergreen tree native and endemic to Cambodia. It is found in wet, dense, foothill forests from 600-700m above sea level, and is used for food condiment, traditional medicine, and wood. It contains significant concentrations of cinnamaldehyde and eugenol in its volatile oils, and is threatened by over-exploitation and illegal logging. Conservation measures are needed to protect this species from extinction.
