Myoporum betcheanum, also known as mountain boobialla, is a shrub or small tree in the figwort family. It has long, narrow leaves with a darker green upper surface and white flowers arranged in small groups. The plant produces spherical, cream-colored fruits and is found at higher elevations in the McPherson Range and nearby mountains in New South Wales and Queensland. It can grow up to 8 meters tall and has hairy branches and leaves. The flowers bloom from December to May and are followed by drupe fruits. This plant was first described in 1969 and is named after botanist Ernst Betche. It is commonly used in gardens due to its attractive flowers and ease of propagation from cuttings.
