Eremophila spectabilis, also known as showy poverty bush, is a flowering plant found in Western Australia. It is a dense shrub with greyish leaves and blue, mauve or purple flowers. The plant grows up to 1 meter tall and has sticky branches and leaves. Its flowers are borne singly on stalks and have 5 sepals and 4 stamens. The species was first described in 1942 and has two subspecies. It is found in sandy or clay soils in the Gascoyne and Murchison regions and is not considered threatened. Showy poverty bush is popular in horticulture due to its attractive flowers and can be propagated through grafting. It prefers well-drained soil and protection from frost.
