Eremophila punctata is a distinctive and widespread flowering plant endemic to Western Australia. It is an erect shrub with sticky young branches and leaves covered in resin. The leaves are small with a few blunt teeth and the flowers are usually lilac-colored. It grows between 0.5 and 2.2 meters tall and can be found in rocky areas in various biogeographic regions. This species is not considered threatened and is often used in horticulture for its attractive flowers and ability to attract insects. It is sensitive to frost and prefers well-drained soils.
