Eremophila papillata is a unique flowering plant that belongs to the figwort family and is native to Western Australia. It is a small shrub with sticky leaves and beautiful mauve, blue, or purple flowers. The plant grows up to 75 cm in height and has rough bark. Its leaves are narrow and covered in small, pimply glands. The flowers are solitary and have 5 sepals and 4 stamens enclosed in a tube. The plant is found in the Avon Wheatbelt and Mallee regions and is not considered threatened. It can be grown in gardens and is easy to propagate from cuttings. Eremophila papillata is a hardy plant that requires minimal care and can tolerate drought and frost.
