Eremophila obliquisepala is a small shrub with serrated leaves, blue to purple flowers, and unusually-shaped sepals. It is endemic to Western Australia and can grow up to 50 cm in height. The flowers are borne singly on a hairy stalk and have 5 overlapping, hairy sepals. The plant is found in stony plains and sandy flats in the Gascoyne and Murchison regions. It is classified as "Priority Three" by the Western Australian Government and is suitable for horticulture, particularly in rockeries. It is best grown in full sun and well-drained soil, and can be propagated from cuttings or grafted onto Myoporum rootstock.
