Eremophila gibsonii is a unique flowering plant that is native to Australia and belongs to the figwort family. It is a sticky, glabrous shrub with narrow leaves and white to lilac-colored flowers. This plant can be found in Western Australia, South Australia, and the Northern Territory. Its flowers are borne singly or in groups and have a distinct petal tube with glandular hairs. It was first described in 1874 and named after Alfred Gibson. Eremophila gibsonii is commonly found on sand dunes in central Australia and is not considered threatened. It can be grown in horticulture from cuttings and is drought and frost tolerant.
