Eremophila complanata is a unique flowering plant found only in a small area in the south west of Western Australia. It is an erect shrub with narrow, flattened leaves and distinctive pink flowers that are also flattened. The plant grows up to 2 meters tall and has sticky branches due to the presence of resin. Its flowers appear in groups of 3 to 6 and are followed by oval-shaped fruits. This plant was first described in 2007 and is classified as "Priority Two" by the Government of Western Australia. It is popular in gardens for its glossy leaves and vibrant flowers, and is easy to propagate and care for.
