Buddleja suaveolens is a dioecious shrub native to central Chile, growing in rocky areas along rivers at elevations of 500 – 2,900 m. It was first described in 1845 and is characterized by its grey fissured bark, yellow young branches, small sessile, elliptic to oblong subcoriaceous leaves, and yellowish orange leafy inflorescences. It is not known to be in cultivation.
