Limnophila sessiliflora, also known as dwarf ambulia, ambulis, and Asian marshweed, is a flowering plant in the Plantaginaceae family. It is native to Southeast Asia but has escaped and become naturalized in other countries, including parts of the United States. This plant is very adaptable and can grow in various aquatic environments, such as mountain streams, lakes, and rivers. It has pinnate, bright green leaves that can turn reddish under strong light. The plant produces capsules as fruit and can reach over 16 inches in height. It is commonly used as a bunch plant in aquariums and requires medium light and a nutrient-rich water column for optimal growth. Propagation is done through cuttings, and a nutrient-rich substrate can also benefit the plant.
