Diplacus leptaleus, also known as slender monkeyflower, is a small, hairy annual herb that can grow up to 14 centimeters tall. It has linear or lance-shaped leaves and produces tubular flowers in colors such as magenta, white, or yellow. This species is found in the Sierra Nevada region of California and western Nevada, where it thrives in disturbed areas and rocky slopes.
