Pinguicula poldinii is a unique insectivorous plant found only in Val d'Arzino, Italy at elevations of 450-550 meters. It grows on steep rocks in an area that was disturbed by construction, making it a rare and threatened species. This plant was first described in 2001 and is at risk of over-collection due to its limited habitat.
