Pinguicula conzattii is a unique insectivorous plant found in the Mexican state of Oaxaca. It is a member of the Heterophyllum section and closely related to Pinguicula mirandae. The plant is named after botanist Cassiano Conzatti and is known for its pubescent winter leaves. These leaves are covered in digestive glands that trap and digest insect prey to supplement the plant's low-nitrate environment. During dry winter conditions, the plant forms non-carnivorous leaves to conserve energy. Pinguicula conzattii has white to violet flowers and is found in a specific location near Santiago Nuyoo at an altitude of 2700m. Despite its limited distribution, there is still much to be learned about this species.
