Vitex cofassus, also known as "New Guinea teak," is a type of woody plant found in the Lamiaceae family. It is primarily found in New Guinea and the Southwest Pacific islands, and is often cultivated for its hardwood, which is commonly used in construction. This wood is also known as Molave Wood, along with another type of timber from the same genus, Vitex parviflora. It is commonly used in countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
