Salvia somalensis, also known as Somalia sage, is a perennial shrub found only in a small area of Somalia. It typically grows in forest clearings or edges at elevations ranging from 4,000 to 7,000 feet. This plant can reach up to 5 feet in height and 3 feet in width, with oblong yellow-green leaves that can grow up to 4 inches long. Its unique inflorescences produce pale wisteria-blue flowers in tight clusters, which may not always grow at the end of stems.
