Salvia harleyana is a type of subshrub that is native to the Serra do Cipó region in Brazil. It can be found growing in savanna and gallery forest areas at an elevation of 1,000 metres. This plant has tall, upright stems and leaves with a length of 1.5 to 3 cm. Its flowers are red and have a corolla size of 7.5 to 9 mm. The species is named after botanist Raymond Harley from the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew.
