Salvia graciliramulosa is a shrub found only in the Rio Chico valley of Bolivia, growing on red sandstone outcrops at high elevations. It has multiple branches and can reach up to 80 centimeters in height. The leaves are small and have short stems, while the inflorescence is a simple terminal spike that can grow up to 10 centimeters long. The flowers are red to reddish-purple in color and are held in a deep violet calyx. This plant is often found in colonies on bare slopes.
