Salvia ekimiana is a perennial plant found only in Central Anatolia, Turkey. It typically grows in open pine forests and alpine steppe areas at elevations between 1,700 to 2,000 meters. The plant has erect to ascending stems that can reach heights of 10 to 30 cm and mostly basal leaves that are oblong or ovate in shape. The leaves are 2.5 to 7 cm long and 1 to 2.5 cm wide. The flowers of S. ekimiana are white with a lilac hood and have a greyish calyx with a violet stripe. This plant is named after professor Tuna Ekim, a renowned Turkish botanist.
