Prostanthera stricta, also known as Mount Vincent mint bush, is a flowering plant in the Lamiaceae family that is found only in a small area of New South Wales. It is a bushy shrub with egg-shaped leaves and mauve flowers with dark spots. The plant can grow up to 2 meters in height and 3 meters in width, with densely hairy branches. It blooms from winter to spring and is listed as a vulnerable species due to threats such as land clearing, grazing, and weed invasion. It is protected under both the Australian Government Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act and the New South Wales Government Biodiversity Conservation Act.
